Malaita Ma’asina Forum (MMF) plans to meet with the Prime Minister (PM) to address issues hindering development in government’s prioritised projects for Malaita.

“Land dispute always disturb development in Malaita but we are ready to meet with PM to consider other options for the government, so that projects could continue without any conflict,” he said.
“We understand that there are setbacks to government’s efforts towards these projects, and this is where MMF would step in to assist to pave way for development to take its course in the province.
“We must be honest to our people with what we did so that our commitment to fulfil major development plans in our country can be achieve,” MMF president stressed.
He concluded DCC must not repeat the same fundraising style used by the previous governments to scoop money out from designed projects intended to remove funds for their personal use.
