Vanuatu Moderator Reverend Kalarongo Ova has congratulated the Ambu SSEC community for celebrating its Golden Jubilee.
Speaking to this paper yesterday,the Presbyterian Church Vanuatu Moderator said, “we really appreciates the hospitality of the Malaita people since our arrival.”
“The church had grown matured and now celebrating its 50th Golden Jubilee anniversary.
“On behalf of the Presbyterian and SSEC churches in Vanuatu I wish to convey our sincere congratulation to the Ambu SSEC community for celebrating its 50th Golden Jubilee anniversary”
“Happy 50th Golden Jubilee Anniversary celebration to all of you.”
A small delegate of Presbyterian Church from Vanuatu and SSEC mission in Vanuatu were invited for the Golden Jubilee celebration. They all commended the hospitality of the Malaitans.
A small group of five, 3 from Vanuatu and 2 were from Malaita who were SSEC missionaries in Vanuatu have arrived to a warm welcome on Tuesday.
“The smiles of the peoples we met in Honiara and those here in Auki sayd a lot about the hospitality of Malaita people.
“We are hoping to enjoy the rest of the week here in Auki, and hoping to make more friends”.
The delegate was accommodated at the SSEC transit in Auki.
The celebration and official opening of the program is set down for today with a parade.
