FORMER premier of Malaita province Reuben Moil urges Fiu village resource owners of the proposed hydro project to cooperate by working together to ensure the project gets off the ground.
Mr Moli urged Government and Malaita Provincial Government to put all efforts into getting the project implemented.
A resident of Fiu village himself, Mr Moli said the resource owners are very eager to see the hydro-project developed and operational.
Mr Moli said, his people want Government and the Provincial Government to treat the project as a matter of priority.
“The development will drive much needed economic benefits interms of saving costs in imported fuel and boosting supply of electricity power to the public and private sector stimulating higher economic growth.”
