THE Miss Pacific Islands Pageant- Solomon Islands (MPIP-SI) secretariat has officially announced newly secured sponsorships for other awards of the 2025 MPIP to be hosted in Honiara next month.
The new sponsorships are as follows:
- Solomon Motors to sponsor the Third Runner-Up Award;
- Advanced Technology to sponsor the Fourth Runner-Up Award;
- Satsol to sponsor the Best Interview Award;
- Gensys Catering to meet the Best Sarong Award;
- Palm Sugar to meet the Miss Personality Award;
- The Ministry of Women, Youth, Children and Family Affairs (MWYCFA) will sponsor the Best Float Award and also three consolation prizes;
The initially secured sponsorships were:
- Coral Sea Casino for the First Overall Prize;
- Coral Sea Resort for the First Runner-Up Award;
- Honiara Pokies Club for the Second Runner-Up Award;
- Solomon Ports for the Best Talent Award;
- Miss Tourism Solomons for the Miss Tourism Award; and
- Printwise for the Miss Photogenic Award.
MPIP-SI secretariat said that they acknowledge and deeply appreciate all their sponsors and they will have all logos of sponsors, including main category sponsors and supporters on their billboards that are being installed along the main street of Honiara City since last weekend.
The MPIP 2025 is set to be held from February 2to 8February and a total of eight contestants, including Miss Solomon Islands Elsie Polosovai will compete for the Miss Pacific Islands crown. Solomon Islands is yet to win the crown.
The current Miss Pacific Islands is Miss Samoa’s Moemoana Safa’ato’a Schwenke who won the crown at the 2024 MPIP held in Nauru where Solomon Islands successfully bided to play host to the 2025 event.
