THE upcoming Motion of no confident against the Malaita Province Premier Daniel Suidani is a waste of time an outspoken Malaita man Nathaniel Maegwari says.
He viewed that it is impossible for a new government to implement its policies within short period of time since the current house will end on June this year.
This is the third Motion of no confidence against the Malaita Alliance for Rural Advancement (MARA) government led by Daniel Suidani.
According to notice the Motion of no confidence is schedule for 7th of February moved by Martin Fini, Honorable MPA for Ward 3.
Mr. Maegwari said the life of the current Malaita province government will end on June this year.
He believes that it will be impossible for a new government to implement its policies and developments within a period of four months.
“Any new government cannot implement its policy and development plans within period of four months. That’s why I regard this motion of no confidence a waste of time and resource.”
“I believe that his motion is not in the interest of Malaitans who wish to see stability and peace in the province.”
“Such political practice is very disturbing and will affect the people of Malaita province.” Mr. Maegwari said.
He calls on the Mover of the Motion to rethink of his decision to move the motion and consider the interest of the majority.
