Member of Parliament (MP) for East Kwara’ae constituency has supported two primary schools with roofing irons.
The assistance followed requests from the schools early this year.
Recipients Atori and Kwai primary school were smiles over the weekend when the materials were delivered.
The schools are located in ward 15 and 16 within the constituency.
Constituency Project Officer (CPO) William Kwaeluma over the weekend distributed a total of 40 pieces of roofing to these schools. Each school receives 20 pieces which are measured at 12feet in length.
Once funds became available other schools will get their share, he added.
Mr Kwaeluma said, the distribution on Saturday was done successfully without much distruption.
“Its the first time for these two primary schools to receive such assistance from the MP,” Mr Kwaeluma said.
He added that a 5000 liters water tank will be supplied to Kwai primary school later next month.
