Member of Parliament (MP) for Temotu VATUD constituency has expressed disappointment over the recent government decision to reshuffle her portfolio.
Speaking to the Solomon Star on Monday the only female MP Freda Tuki Soriacomua said, she was not informed about the move to shift her from Ministry of Rural Development to the Ministry of Woman, Youth and Family Affairs.
“I’m not aware of this and it happens when I was on constituency tour, but I will check this when I arrive in Honiara tomorrow (today),” she said.
“I will make my decision whether to take up my new portfolio or not after I arrive in Honiara to find out about the reasons for my reshuffle,” she added.
The MP has been on a constituency for more than a week.
Her delegation arrived in Lata on Monday morning to catch their return flight to Honiara on Tuesday.
