Paradise community of North New Georgia Island in the Western province over the weekend have been blessed with the official launching of the newly mobile tower installed by Our Telekom on the Island.
The ceremony was witnessed by school children, men and women and the Member of Parliament for the constituency Hon. Job Dudley Tausinga.
In his key note address to its people Hon. Tausinga said communication is very important and vital that connects one from the other.
“It also helps to create a space for development in the communities in various sectors in life.”
He encouraged his people to respect the facilities and welcome his people of their courage and commitment in seeking Our Telekom’s support for the project in their community.
Responding on behalf of Our Telekom Chris Sogabule manager Western Region said company is pleased to install one of its newly towers at Paradise which is a big community and encouraged the people to look after it very well to help them now and in the future.
The launching of the newly mobile tower is coloured with sales promotion of mobiles and other accessories at Paradise.
Paradise is the home of Christian Fellowship Church (CFC). The CFC is notably practical and is known for being able to raise large groups for community projects. It has been involved in large reforestation and housing projects.
