Dear Editor – The reason given by PEC to defend the tax free award they had awarded the 50 MPs to take home after their days in the mushroom house parliament or the hill top are over.
Example: Their houses are always full of voters.
Perhaps the question they should be asking is who force them to stand for the election at the first place?
A leader is a servant. A servant for the people, not only for those who put them in power as is the case with some these days.
Our national logo tells it all, clear and plain to lead is to serve. Serve who, the people? Follow to?
Next time if we hurt to see the house full every day, all days long weeks in weeks out, all year round then forget about becoming one, come the next election.
Tax them, our law said it so. Pay as you earn.
