The Chair of the Melanesian Spearhead Group and Spokesperson of the FLNKS of Kanaky New Caledonia, Mr Victor Tutugoro, congratulated the newly elected 8th President of the Republic of Vanuatu, His Excellency Fr. Baldwin Lonsdale of TORBA Province in Vanuatu.
Mr Tutugoro in a congratulatory letter to His Excellency President Baldwin, said President Baldwin’s assumption to the high office of the President of the Republic of Vanuatu, is timely and continues to portray the significant symbol of unity and peace for the people and nation of the Republic of Vanuatu.
The Chair of the MSG further in his letter said: “as the host country of the MSG Secretariat, the MSG is endeared to the Republic of Vanuatu and holds in very high regard the important institutions of the State, including the Office of the President,”
Mr Tutugoro took the opportunity to assure the newly elected President of the Republic of Vanuatu, the desire of the MSG to continue to work closely with all state institutions in the bid to advance the collective aspirations of the region to attain durable prosperity for all.
