SPECIAL Secretary to the Prime Minister (SSPM) Andrew Muaki has dismissed claims he used an alias facebook account to attack his colleagues at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The facebook account “Bart MV” used Forum Solomon Islands International (FSII) to launch serious allegations against former SSPM Rence Sore and press secretary Deli Oso.
FSII has since apologised to Mr Sore and Mrs Oso over the allegations, while Bart MV quickly de-registered the account.
Ms Oso also went on facebook and claimed on her page that Bart MV was Mr Muaki.
But Mr Muaki shrugged off the claim, stating he has no idea about the so-called Bart MV.
He added he even doesn’t know those on FSII who stood for him after allegations of sexual harassment were levelled against him.
“I was visiting families oversea when all these arguments came about including the one that put my reputation to question in public,” he said.
“Where I lived is outside of Brisbane and it did not have access to internet, unless I have to take a long way drive to the library in town to use the internet, but my two week vacation was busy looking after my child at home.”
Mr Muaki said not until his return to the country on the 6th of March was he able to access internet and log into his Facebook account that bear his real name.
He said he left the country on the 25th of February and returned on the 6th of March.
Hence, the period during his overseas travel was obvious that he never access internet to learn about all the rubbish that has been thrown in the FSII page against him and other Political Appointees (PA) within the PMO.
“I only access internet on my mobile phone,” Mr Muaki uttered.
He added that Bart MV was raising serious allegations in FSII when he was away of the country without accessing the internet on his mobile phone and if people want to prove this they can check with Our Telekom for answers, since he was using his same sim card in Honiara while in Aussie.
“I always use my baptised name – Andrew Muaki – when corresponding with the public, including the print and social media.
“I used my name in the then Tutuvatu Forum and currently use the same name in the Soa Network, Guadalcanal Forum and Central Makira Constituency Forum.
“That has been my way and will remain so until I depart this earth.
“In the relevant period I was not able to access internet: 25 Feb-6 March.
“I find it somewhat amusing that some people are running out of what to say and can only stoop so low to come up with cheap shots by trying to Christianise others with additional names in social media,” Mr Muaki said.
