Kukum highway is now covered with dust as construction for the main road and repair works continue under the current fine weather.
Last week the construction of road was disturbed and delayed due to heavy rain.
The heavy rain created a lot of potholes, floods, mud and traffic jam causing a lot of inconveniences to those who traveled on public vehicles.
Since the bad weather road maintenance work has been carried out that has made the traffic flow easier, however another issue now is the dust.
From the main roads to the outback roads and in Guadalcanal province, dust can be seen hovering all over Honiara.
Residences and shops along the main roads and feeder roads are now fighting against the effects of the dust.
