LESTER Kisina (Biboa) launched his first hiphop album “Pressure on the pain” over the weekend in Honiara.
The launch coincided with the closing of the Youth@Work market.
Biboa took many by surprised during his life performance when launching his album, which consisted of 18 songs.
Despite the bad weather on Saturday, many turned up to watch Biboa live on stage.
Director of the band Simon Chottu said he is happy to help sponsor the band and its new album.
“I very happy to sponsor Biboa as he is the first Solomon Islander to move into hiphop music,” Mr Chottu said.
“My support is to help youths in the country engage and participate in different styles of music.
‘It’s one way to keep our youths busy doing better things in life than to turn to do bad things.”
Mr Chottu said he’s happy to see Biboa launched his first hiphop album, which indicates the young musician is progressing.
