Termite stricken clinic at Naha will soon to open next month, says the Honiara City Council (HCC) assistant Director of Nursing Moses Karuni.
Speaking to the Solomon Star yesterday Karuni said, the HCC health authority is aware of the high demand for medical service in Naha area, considering its dense population and distant location from clinics in town.
“Naha clinic has been closed since December last year due to termite invasion and run down walls in the building,” he said.
“We want Naha residents to bear with us since we are currently experiencing cash flow problem, as we try to complete the repair work left,” Mr Karuni added.
He further stated that they are hopeful that the clinic will be opened next month August, which they are working towards it and expected the public to cooperate with them.
Karuni also said that once Naha medical centre resume services they expect the people to work closely with them to ensure inadequate health facilities provide could cater for the rising demand.
