The Namson Tran pre-season basketball tournament will resume tomorrow.
There will be four matches with the Lakers women’s basketball team taking on El Divas for the opening match at 1pm, followed by Crusaders and the U19 at 2pm, Andel and Defenders at 3pm for the women and MMTM and Travel Blazers to wrap up the day’s action at 4pm.
The main focus for the day will surely be that of the MMTM and Blazers.
MMTM since coming into the competition has proven to be a strong contender and are highly expected to pull out major upsets in this tournament.
This will be their fourth match following three matches played which they won one and lost two which they ended only by two to three basket differences.
Blazers on the other hand are the champions of the HBL competition last year and will surely put in their best efforts to win this game in order to push up the ladder.
They are currently on third spot while Western Bullets remains on second spot and QQQ Marist remains atop of the tournament’s table tally.
Meanwhile the finals of the tournament have been deferred for May 4.
This was simply due to the recent hold up of matches during the recent disaster experienced in the capital Honiara.
