The national rugby 15s team will continue with the preparation training at Town Ground Rugby Stadium.
Training kicks off at 5pm in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays to start off with and players are obliged to train with their clubs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The rugby 15s Mens training squad will train alongside the national 7s squad for the SPG who are also using the field as well.
The training squad was selected from the 2014 inter Islands championship plus the members of the last squad that represented Solomon Islands in the 2013 Oceania Cup. The training squad members are:

Players are advised to bring proper training wear and water bottle. All players are advised to attend all training sessions as players will be selected on commitment to training and performance.
SIRUF is yet to formalize the management team which comprises of a head coach, assistant coach, team doctor and manager. For now the training squad will be look after by Corey Chapman, Philip Campbell and SIRUF RDO till a management team is put in place.
The Oceania Cup 15s tournament is scheduled to kick off August this year and SIRUF is looking forward to sending a stronger team this year.
