Former national beach soccer defender Eddie Ngaitini has been tipped to be the next coach for the Bilikiki team.
This follows the sudden resignation of the current head coach Gideon Omokorio.
Mr Omokirio tendered his resignation soon after returning from the beach soccer world cup in Tahiti last year citing club and family commitment.
His resignation has raised questions among the beach soccer players and supporters as to who will lead the Bilikiki team in the upcoming games line up for this year.
The upcoming games for this year are intercontinental beach soccer cup in Dubai and world cup qualifying tournament for 2015 in April.
No official confirmation has yet come from the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) for the potential coach but according to a source who was with the team from the beginning said the only potential coach apart from Omokirio is Eddie Ngaitini.
This was because out of the former and present beach soccer players the only qualified coaches are Omokirio, Ngaitini and Hendry Koto.
They successfully completed a FIFA sub-regional beach course at Tahiti in 2010.
Not only that but Ngaitini is a defender for the Bilikiki team in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011.
With those experiences the source said he can lead the Bilikiki team from where Omokirio has left.
