ADAUA Secondary School in the Lau Mbaelelea electorate of Malaita is set to receive a new three-ton truck from the Lau Mbaelelea constituency.
The delivery of the truck is expected to take place sometime this year.
According to reports, the three-ton truck will assist with the school’s transportation needs, helping with the movement of students and school-related activities.
Photos of the new truck posted on social media have sparked public support for the initiative.
Many have expressed appreciation for the Lau Mbaelelea constituency’s efforts in recognizing the needs of Adaua school.
One commentator from Lau Mbaelelea expressed gratitude for the support, thanking the Member of Parliament and the constituency office for their contribution to the school.
“You are a great leader, a born leader. Thank you for this significant support for Adaua School. To lead is to serve, and now you’ve proven that. Congratulations, Hon. Ben Maenu’u,” the commentator said.
Other constituents have joined in congratulating Adaua School for receiving the much-needed truck.
“I would like to congratulate the school for receiving this much-needed truck, and sincerely thank the Lau Mbaelelea MP, Hon. Ben Maenu’u for the initiative,” said one supporter.
“My appeal now goes to the administration and management of the school to take good care of this valuable asset and manage it well, for the benefit of the school and our children,” the constituent added.
Funds for the truck was made possible by tax payers through the constituency office.
