First and foremost let me thank God Almighty for his wonderful love, care and protection He has done to us since the 1st of January 2015 up until December 31st 2015.
We should also be thankful to Him (God) for many blessings He had given us throughout this year.
As we look forward to welcome the arrival of year twenty sixteen (2016), we must first think about how we can value year 2016 in our lives.
Second, we should ask ourselves what year 2016 means to us before we can actually celebrate year 2016, comes Friday.
Therefore, I want to pay tribute to year 2015, a year of challenges, difficulties and of many questions than answers, on the other hand we could say goodbye to year 2015.
As the 2016 approaches, give a moment of thought to the achievements as well as the failures of 2015 so that you know what the right path for you would be.
End each year with a few good lessons and start the new one by showing that you have learnt the lessons of the past well.
Starting somewhere new is always a bizarre experience. There’s so much to get used to, and things come at you at such a pace.
I know it’s the New Year, and I don’t want to sound like scrooge, but I never make New Year resolutions, I’m just hopeless at them.
This message and greetings and I hope it will be helpful for you. New Year is the time to visit our relatives and friends with fun and party to warm up relations and strengthen friendship.
On this New Year our resolution may be to face our challenges with courage and confidence, to spread the love and affection to our dear and nears, to lead a life of success and victory, to pray to the God for all those blessings.
The New Year has brought another chance for us to set things right and to open up a new chapter in our lives.
The most important thing to remember as we approach 2016 is that it’s much better to commit mistakes that can strengthen our characters other than playing them safe.
When I look around and I see many signs of hope, but also there are many communities, many families, and many friends, and many individuals struggling.
Perhaps our New Year’s resolution is therefore not just to do something slightly differently, but to set our eyes on changing the world around us.
That would really change our country in the most amazing way.
Even if our talks may lessen, and so might our hellos, our stories might shorten along the way, the we may or may not have major problems , except there’s one I want to think about this year.
I want to suggest this year that each of us makes a resolution to try and change our nation a bit where we are.
Nelson Mandela said that dealing with poverty is not an act of charity; it’s an act of justice.
He said every generation has the chance to be a great generation, and we can be that great generation if we are to deal with poverty as justice to everyone.
Every end is just a new beginning. Keep your spirits and determination unshaken and you shall always walk the glory road.
With courage, faith and efforts you shall conquer everything you desire.
New is the year, new are the hopes, new is the resolution, new are the spirits, and new are my warm wishes just for everyone living in Honiara and elsewhere in the country.
Have a promising and fulfilling New Year.
As this year is ending, I wish all the negativity and difficulties also end with this year and 2016 bring success and desired results for us.
On the road to success, the rule is, always to look ahead. We’re supposed to let go of the past and start off new.
We are supposed to forgive all those who hurt us and be open to new relationships, with open arms.
No one can go back in time to change what has happened, instead just work on your present to make yourself a wonderful future.
Before the calendar turns a new leaf over, before the social networking sites get flooded with messages, before the mobile networks get congested, let me take this precious moment to wish all Solomon islanders right across the country from Temotu province in the east to the Shortlands in the west, and from Malaita Out Islands in the north to Rennel and Bellona in the south a joyful, wonderful, happy, healthy and prosperous New Year 2016. I wish may the good times, live on in our memories. And may we learn lessons, from the troubling times.
That will make us stronger and better than ever. Let’s welcome the year which is fresh and new.
Lets cherish each moment it beholds and let’s celebrate this blissful new year with love, confidence and hope in order to make our plans and dreams come true.
There are things that are sometimes left undone and there are things that can be left sometimes unsaid.
So I wish everyone to have:
– Sweet Sunday
– Marvelous Monday
– Tasty Tuesday
– Wonderful Wednesday
– Thankful Thursday
– Friendly Friday
– And a successfully Saturday.
However, everything about the future is uncertain, but one thing is for sure that God had already planned all our tomorrows; we just have to trust him today, I heartily wish a beautiful tomorrow for you and your family.
May this New year 2016 brings you the long lasting happiness and success a great new start that make you and your dears happy and Joyful with new Peace and Contentment, new Fortune and Friends.
God bless everyone throughout 2016; have an unforgettable New Year 2016 celebration.
May this year be the best year by far, and may this year bring with it endless joy and happiness to all of us.
