Dear Editor – The Minister for Environment was quoted by your paper that logging will not be allowed on Rennell Island.
What about mining?
The Mining Lease was not even legal.
Manetoali and DCC must stop misleading the people of Renbel Province and Solomon Islands.
Removing Day Pacha from the Ministry of Mines is not enough.
Pacha needs to be prosecuted for alleged abuse of office and for being a midnight operator and Mining Lease must be cancelled to give the so-called effort to protect the world heritage site some sort of credibility.
