Dear Editor – Its becoming a concern and public nuisance to see people making noises throughout the day during the weekends without considering others.
There are people who have organised wedding celebrations and parties from Friday to Sunday. And they just continue to celebrate by drinking alcohol and playing loud music as if they are the only ones in their community.
They never think about their neighbours and their families who can’t hear anything because of this loud music. Some of this people continue to play their loud music throughout the night until the morning and even continue throughout the next day.
Such attitude shows people who does not consider others around them who may need some quietness.
Worse still some of these songs are being repeated over and over again.
This is happening in many communities around the city.
Even people driving around in their car tend to play loud music without even considering others nearby.
Its time more stricter rules should be imposed.
Police should also come out in the media and through awareness programs to remind people to consider others when playing their music.
Sometimes others did not want to hear your music at all.
So people who love to play their music should also think about that.
