MEMBERS of the Solomon Islands National Provident Fund (SINPF) will know by Monday 30th September after lunch, the 2024 annual credit rate that will be added to their savings.
This will happen when the SINPF Board will officially announce and declare the annual interest rate for the year ending 30th June 2024, something many members have been looking for each year.
The annual declaration is usually made on 30th September, three months after the Fund’s financial year concluded in June.
The much-awaited annual declaration program will be hosted at Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara for invited guests.
The occasion will commence with the Fund’s General Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael Wate formally delivering a report on the Fund’s financial performance for the financial year ending June.
On behalf of the SINPF Board, its Deputy Chairman Riley Mesepitu will also issue a statement.
The highlight of the event will be the official announcement and declaration by the Minister of Finance Manasseh Sogavare.
The former Prime Minister will then officially declare of the crediting rate by the Board to the members’ savings for the financial year 2023/2024.
Over the past weeks, many NPF members have been waiting anxiously for this important announcement.

2023 – 6%.
2022 – 2.65%,
2021 – 6%,
2020 – 3.7%,
2019 – 8.5%,
2018 – 6.5%.
