THE National Referral Hospital (NRH) Dental Clinic as of this month will open for service during weekends.
A notice issued by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS) stated that this measure is taken to ensure that members of the public can access emergency or urgent dental care services on Saturdays and Sundays.
“The National Referral Hospital (NRH) Dental Clinic would like to inform the public that as of this month, it will open from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays).
“Once the clinic closes at 1.00 pm on these two days, then (our) on call staff will be on standby just like after hours on weekdays.
“Opening hours during weekdays remain the same: 8 am to 4:30 pm. Likewise, staff on call are on standby to attend to any emergency cases or those that require urgent dental care services,” the notice stated.
All patients needing urgent care after 1 pm on weekends and 4:30 pm during weekdays must report first to the Emergency Department who will then contact the dental officer on call.
The public can call NRH Dental landline or the Office of the Director of Dental Services for further details on weekend services and any other inquiries.
