Dear Editor – Instead of moving the National Referral Hospital to the proposed new site behind Lunga power station, why not do what the people next to the present site did and reclaim the shallow sea in front of the hospital?
Pacific Casino have also reclaimed a lot of land as well as many other people. If a retaining wall of proper design is built high seas will not be a problem.
The new proposed site is a part of the Queen Elizabeth 2nd National Park [to be left as undisturbed land or developed for recreational use] however I believe it has been sold then on sold so how much will SIG have to pay for the land?
