HEARTS of Hope (HOH) charitable organization based in Malaita province has received a timely donation from the Helping Hand group from New Zealand.
Helping Hand has sent a container of clothes, blankets and shoes to Hearts of Hope last week.
This timely was made possible through and Jeanette and Mrs Frank Short to Hearts of Hope.
The assistance will support orpan kids and the elderly people.
Its believe that the assistance is worth thousands of dollars.
President of HOH Justice Aihari acknowledged Helping Hand group in New Zealand for donating the items that will help the work of HOH in Malaita.
She also thanked New Zealand communities and families for their support in donating the items.
“HOH really acknowledge Mr Frank Short for his great assistance in getting the support from New Zealand.
“Orphans and elderly people in Malaita will be happy to receive this assistance and great support from Helping Hand Group in New Zealand,” Mrs Aihari said.
She told the Solomon star that this latest donation is the biggest support they have recieved so far coming from New Zealand.
She said this great support will help extend their work into other rural areas of the province.
She assured that with this arrival HOH is proposing to visit orphans and older people of Ata’a region in Northern part of Malaita.
