Dear Editor – This is a brief statement to clear the air around rumours and unhealthy narratives surrounding One Link Pacifica on Social Media and recent news by SIBC and the Solomon Star.
We want to reaffirm our position as agreed in our consultation that working on the formality of the schedule of payment commences on Wednesday 11th March 2020 and the date of the payment will be made known to Mentors in line with the policies of the organisation.
There will be no payment on Wednesday as erroneously posted on the FB.
Johner Hoasi, the owner of JJ Company, erred in his FB statement confirming payment on Wednesday 11/3/2020. He’s only misleading the public.
Additionally, the news broadcast over SIBC that One Link has deposited money in the Central Bank of Solomon Islands is erroneous, misleading and uncalled for.
We would like to join the Central Bank of Solomon Islands to reject such unhealthy assumptions.
We are working together with the Central Bank of Solomon Islands, seeking their help and observing possibilities only to make our organisation credible.
People who are taking such claims need to check information with us before going to media.
We are a credible organisation putting our feet down to strengthen our service for the common good of our masses who suffer at the cutting edge of our society.
The Solomon Star No. 7468 on Monday 9th March 2020 front-page made a very serious one-sided statement against One Link Pacifica.
One Link has been paying customers up to January.
The majority of the people in December have been paid and the remaining ones will be paid soon.
These statements are made only to tarnish our good reputation and hard work to support our people to make both ends and at the same time access new windows and possibilities for a better day.
We remain vigilant to our objective making resources and wealth distributed with equality.
We are committed to seeing women who are struggling become real breadwinners and at the dawn of each new day, the day breaks with new possibilities.
We will never be swayed following such unhealthy narratives and misleading statements as we are committed to the good of our people and achieve the best for them and to win a better future for all.
