OFFICE of the Prime Minister will respond to the “Malaita People’s Log of Claim” once they see the contents of the claim.
Special Secretary to Prime Minister Albert Kabui in a press conference yesterday said they have to see it first then see how they will respond to it.
He said as reported in the media the log of claim was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening, Stanley Pirione.
He said the PS is yet to present to his Minister who is responsible for the matter.
“We at the OPMC are yet to receive the log of claim as of today. We will see how we will respond after we receive it,” he said.
When asked of OPMC assurance on way forward to have a dialogue with Malaita provincial government to deal with the claims he said they have to see it first.
He said at this stage they will not make any comments until they see the log of claims first.
Premier Daniel Suidani on the 39th Second Appointed of Malaita province presented a 15-points log of claims which he wants the OPMC to respond within 28 days.
