BONFIRE Festival founder, Jaro Local has officially announced the launch of Our Telekom’s Mobile Money Service – M-Selen’s money transfer service covering Australia and New Zealand on Saturday night in Honiara.
His announcement coincided with the Bonfire Festival 2024 sponsored by the country’s leading telecommunication service provider – Our Telekom.
Solomon Islands very own renowned musician, Jeremy Saeni known on the music scene as ‘Jaro Local’ announced the latest product in front of a packed crowd.
Saeni said, with the launch of the M-Selen Remittance product, M-Selen customers can receive money directly into their M-selen wallet from Australia and New Zealand via KlickEx.com.
“A big shout out to our Telekom’s M-Selen and KlickEx to make this possible for us everyone.
“So, for those who will receive money here in Solomon Islands, just follow the normal process of using M-Selen money transfer through any M-Selen agent here in the country.
“It’s just the normal processes of how we receive money through our M-Selen agents in the country.
“So, anyone listening now from Australia and New Zealand, you just have to create an account on KlickEx.com and transfer money to an Our Telekom M-Selen Wallet anywhere in Solomon Islands.
“So now when any family member or relative who resides in Australia or New Zealand sends money to you, you don’t have to join long bank queues since the money will be sent directly into your M-Selen Wallet,” Saeni said.
The launch of M-Selen promises to transform financial transactions, offering a seamless and secure platform for users.
This is just one of the many services M-Selen is offering. The platform also enables top-up services, bill payments, sending and receiving money and the ability to deposit funds into NPF Yousave accounts.
