Dear Editor – May I ask the government to critically look after the unemployment rate amongst our young people.
You see them roam the streets of Honiara every day.
This is because the government has done little or nothing to help them find meaning to life.
These are educated young men and women.
Some of them are supposed to be attending universities.
But because the government failed them, they were unable to continue with their education.
These young people are our assets.
I ask the government to treat these young people with respect and fairness.
I also urge the government to provide them scholarships so that they can be able to continue their education.
