SUVA, (FIJI TV) – The Pacific Games swimming competition will receive international recognition this year.
The event in Port Moresby will be a qualifier for international events.
Fourteen countries are expected to participate in the Pacific Games where 120 medals are up for grabs.
Swimming is among other sporting events that will take place in the 1st week of regional competition.
Meanwhile, Fiji Swimming has a new President.
Ben Rova was elected over the weekend to be the new President.
Rova is also the Nadi Barracudas president.
He takes over the post from Jerome Kado..
