A PEOPLE’S Alliance Party Government will increase funds given to Churches and other religious groups in Solomon Islands.
The PAP commends churches and religious groups which have been actively running hospitals and schools throughout the country.
It says an Alliance Party Government will increase annual grants given to the churches to continue to effectively and efficiently administer their schools and hospitals.
The People’s Alliance Party believes the churches are better partners of the government in shaping the future of Solomon Islanders through the education system.
It adds they are also better partners in efforts to ensure a healthy society for Solomon Islands by taking active part in health and medical services.
