Pathfinders in North Malaita region have successfully ended a hike program over the weekend.
According to John Andrew Kiri reporting from that region said that the program started last Monday and concluded last Friday.
“The program was a very special one because the pathfinders were able to walk while visiting six SDA communities in the region throughout the week,” Mr Kiri said.
He added that the aim of the program was to revisit and look at the places where pioneer missionaries were staying and conducted their mission work during their times.
The 30 pathfinders walked from Onebala to Kafoasila village which covered some 40 kilometres.
The hike is to prepare for their big program in December at Auluta area in East Kwara’ae.
