The Ministry of National Unity Reconciliation and Peace (MNURP) last Friday farewelledtheir Caretaker Minister HypoliteTarimae and five SPC interns.
Speaking at the farewell function hosted by ministry at Mendana Hotel, Permanent Secretary (PS) Lennis Rukale thanked the Caretaker Minister Tarimae for his contribution towards the ministry.
“In your four years in Parliament and as a Minister for MNURP, you have done tremendous contribution toward the Ministry.
“Despite the challenges we face, the Ministry of National Unity Reconciliation and Peace has implemented and up to date on most of its work program, through your support.
“Therefore, on behalf of the Ministry staff, we wish you good luck in the up coming general election.”
The PS also thanked the SPC interns for their time spent with the Ministry, adding with the basic knowledge gained while attached with the Ministry will help them in their future career.
“This is not the end, but it is only the beginning”.
PS assured them that future is bright and the opportunity is at hand; “Therefore when you have chances, make the full use of your time and knowledge.”
Tarimae in response thanked the PS and his staff for the time he spent with them.
He highlighted, much has been learnt while working with the Ministry.
The Caretaker minister encouraged the staff to continue their good work to ensure the ordinary people, communities and the country as a while live in a peaceful environment.
Also he acknowledged SPC intern for their effort and time working with the ministry.
“Your time spent with the ministry is important for your future living.”
