PELICAN Shipping Limited transported 90 athletes from Isabel Province from Buala on Thursday last week to Honiara as it expands its service to Isabel.
At Buala Wharf to farewell the athletes before their trip to Honiara was Isabel Province premier Honourable Rhoda Sikilabu.
Team Isabel representative said the team is happy for the reliable service provided by Pelican.
“We are happy to board Express Pelican and we are looking forward to have their service in the province,” the team representative said.
Pelican Shipping Limited said Pelican will continue to operate services to Sigana, Tatamba and Buala in the future.
The company also thanked Team Isabel for choosing to travel on Pelican.
“It has been a great pleasure having you all onboard.
“….we would like to wish the team best of luck and may you get good results from the games,” a statement from the company said.
To those wishing to travel to Isabel Province, the next schedule for Express Pelican will be on Saturday 1st April 2023.
