A High Court judge walked out of the courtroom halfway through reading his judgment on the petition case between South Vella La Vella MP Frederick Kologeto and former MP Lionel Alex Qora, Wednesday.
Judge John Keniapisia said he could not complete his judgment because the people of South Vella La Vella are disrespectful.
He was going through his judgment when noises from mobile phones disturbed him.
In spite of his earlier warning to people in the courtroom gallery to switch off their mobile phones, mobile phones continued to be heard ringing in the courtroom.
Justice Keniapisia then walked out of the courtroom halfway through his judgment after handing out hard copies of the judgment to counsels.
Mr. Kologeto was dismissed of the 11 bribery allegations after a trial conducted in Gizo, Western Province.
Former South Vella La Vella MP Qora filed the petition after losing by 581 votes.
Newcomer Mr. Kologeto polled total votes of 2,932.
