Dear Editor – I visited Honiara in 1990 I believe to assist in clean up of unexploded ordinance.
I met a tribal Chief who was married to a British government official, her first name was Mary and she was a focal point contact for that clean up coordination.
I know the information is weak but hoping archives might lead me to them.
I____m trying to find their last name and whereabouts. They had a daughter about 15 years old in 1990 but again, I cannot recall her name.
I apologize for the inquiry with such little information but even if you could lead me to a historian or point me to archives if internet searchable…I____ve contacted British team as well and continue to search the web.
Any info or help is greatly appreciated.
