Prime Minister (PM) Manasseh Sogavare has acknowledged the Speaker of Parliament Ajilon Nasiu and his office staff in facilitating the MPs’ induction program.
He was speaking at the opening of the Induction on Monday night.
He also thanked the New South Wales politician Jonathan O’Dea for his presence to conduct the induction.
Mr Sogavare said, such induction program truly helps the MPs to learn about their roles and become more familiar with the procedures, system and the operation of the national parliament.
“I am sure that the exercise will be as enriching and rewarding to those participating in the program as it is to you in other respects,” the PM added. “So thank you very much,” he stated.
