PNG LOOP – Indonesian President Joko Widodo has invited business communities in PNG to invest in Indonesia and participate in its economic growth.
Speaking at a business breakfast yesterday morning in Port Moresby, Widodo told business communities his first visit to the country marks a new beginning for both countries.
“A new beginning for stronger relations including economic ties.
“To have a strong and good relationship is a must for our countries,” said President Widodo.
President Widodo emphasised that economic relations between the two countries must be strengthened and allowed investments in both countries.
The breakfast was hosted by the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Business Council of PNG.
