The National Crime Prevention Department (NCPD) of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF), together with the China Police Liaison Team (CPLT) recently conducted an awareness at the soon to be completed National Referral Hospital Comprehensive Medical Center.
The awareness activity was purposely to support the construction site in the prevention of theft and damage, as it is now approaching the final phase of the work.
Speaking during the activity, Deputy Director NCPD Staff Sergeant (S/Sgt) Raymond Togapada acknowledged the management team and workers for their superb dedication, tireless hours, effort, time, and contribution they have put towards creating a lasting lifesaving complex that would serve Solomon Islands people.
He called on workers to maintain good work, adhere to discipline, and stay safe at all times.
CPLT Commissioner Liu Shenghuang also highlighted the steady progress in the construction of the Comprehensive Medical Centre, which is the result of friendly cooperation and joint efforts between China and the Solomon Islands.
He reiterated the importance of caring for the properties associated with the building works, and encouraged workers to work together to secure a safe construction site.
Deputy Director NCPD S/Sgt Raymond Togapada shared key crime prevention tips for the construction project and said that police will provide continued visibility and surveillance of the properties.
