POLICE are looking into reports they received regarding some members of the public still being in possession of guns.
Deputy Police Commissioner Juanita Matanga stated this when asked by a reporter if police are aware of those reports.
“Yes, we continue to work on it,” Ms Matanga said.
She confirmed police received some reports on possession of guns.
“We continue to receive those information.”
She said this is good so that they can work on it.
Ms Matanga added that it is good that people come forward with information as we all know that guns were the reason for the downfall of our country.
“In order to continue improve on what we see, it is good that people come forward with information.”
She said once they have detailed information they will be attending to it at an appropriate time.
