The Office of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) has clarified reports that two of the former senior police officers were forcefully removed from their positions within the Force.
That report was published in the Island Sun newspaper recently.
In a statement the RSIPF office said it advises that while it is true that Mr. Walter Kola and Mr. Nela Mosese have left the RSIPF, it is not correct to say they were forced out.
“They both left voluntarily, electing to take voluntary early retirement, after long careers with RSIPF.
“This has led to restructure of the RSIPF executive as we seek to build a team for the future.”
