POLICE will be conducting some operations in Honiara targeting hotspots area for anti-social behaviour this weekend.
Police Commander Frank Prendergast said they will be conducting the operation in the township area particularly in east Honiara, central Honiara and west Honiara at white river.
“We are asking public to assist police iduring that time and report any criminal activities that may believe occur in their communities,” Mr Prendergast said.
“We are clearly always very interested in kwaso as that seem to be the major driver for crime.”
He said however, police are asking community to assist them in reporting any criminal activity on the phone 23666 or in an emergency on the emergency line on 999.
