Suva (Fiji Times) – THE Fiji men’s and women’s teams had a powerful start in the FIH World League Round One at the National Hockey Centre, Laucala Bay, Suva.
The Fiji men’s team thrashed Tonga in the first match 7-2 while Fiji women’s team scored eight goals against Solomon Islands to lead 8-0 at the break. In another women’s match; Tonga lost to the Solomon Islands 1-2.
The league also includes teams from Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu.
