TEMOTU premier Fr Brown Beu has commended the national government for its commitment to developing his province.
He uttered this at his province’s second appointed celebration at provincial capital Lata, yesterday.
“I sincerely wish to acknowledge the national government for its positive presence in our province through the number of non-devolved functions carried out by seconded staff and direct employees,” Fr Beu said.
“These are especially in areas of health and medical services, agriculture, forestry, and education”.
“Without the great assistance rendered by the National Government, we are highly and likely not to provide adequate and essential socio-economic services to our people.
“We acknowledged the continuous efforts by the national government in the presence of minister Comnis Meuwa on behalf of the NCRA Government,” Fr Beu said.
