Guadalcanal Province (GP) Premier Francis Sade has urged the communities in Malango and Tasimboko to support the development of the John Coleridge Patterson University (JCPU).
Guadalcanal Province Premier Francis Sade has made this call on Saturday during the dedication of a Foundation Stone and Unveiling of a sign board for the proposed establishment of John Coleridge Patterson University at Kosu Land, North Guadalcanal.
Mr. Sade encourages people of Malango and Tasimboko to respect the upcoming development of Kosu Land.
“The benefit of this university will definitely benefit all of you and my people in Guadalcanal Province.
“And I want all of us to support it,” Mr. Sade said.
He said investment in education is one of the most important parts of sustainable development.
However, he said Guadalcanal Provincial Government will continue to support the educational authorities through government, churches and private sectors to continue to strengthen and deliver Solomon Islands Government’s education goal.
