MALAITA Premier Daniel Suidani has graced the graduation ceremony of Ngalikekero and Lilisiana Vocational Rural Training Center (RTC) students in North Malaita, this week.
In his message to the graduating students, Mr Suidani encourages the graduates to look for opportunities to put knowledge acquired into practice.
He also congratulated the 28 students who graduated with certificates in carpentry, mechanics, and plumbing.
While congratulating the graduating students, the premier said the students are making the right choice to attend school, where he said education is no doubt the key in this 21st century.
The Premier said even if RTC was regarded as the informal education, it continues to breed nation builders and give important knowledge to many Malaitans to put food on their tables.
The Premier said MARA government is in support of this informal sector where he said MARA government wants to see more young Malaitans who fall out of the formal education system to attend RTC to gain significant skill and knowledge to meaningfully contribute towards building Malaita Province.
The Premier thanked and congratulated Ngalikekero and Lilisiana for shaping those who graduated this week preparing them to go into the field as part of the Malaita work force in their specialty.
