THE Unity Christian Life Centre Assemblies of God (AOG) Church at Bibisu village in West Kwara’ae will host the 2024 AOG Sunday School Rally for the Malaita region starting on Friday and in a show of support toward this three-day event, Premier Elijah Asilaua offered financial assistance.
AOG Sunday School Ministries from all over Malaita will gather at Bibisu for this rally. The AOG Sunday School Rally is held every two years.
The theme for this 2024-2025 program is ‘None Should Perish’ and is based on the Gospel of Mathew Chapter 18, Verses 14.
Premier Asilaua donated the sum of $1000.00 in cash on Thursday.
The envelope containing this financial donation was handed over to the Unity Christian Life Centre AOG Sunday school representative Elizabeth Matangani by the MPA for Ward 2, Mr Benjamin Talu at the Solomon Star Office in Auki.
Beaming with delight, MPA Talu handed over the financial assistance.
In his brief remarks, MPA Talu expressed gratitude to the AOG Church in Bibisu for hosting the rally, which he said will positively impact the lives of the participating children.
“This is very significant program that will have very positive impact on the lives of our children. So, with this small contribution from the Premier, who gave it to me to hand it over to the church, I’m very delightful to have the honor of doing so,” he added.
