CHOISEUL Provincial Premier Jackson Kiloe has urged his Premier colleagues to speak out and raise issues to the national government during the conference this week.
Jackson Kiloe was one of the premiers that spoke yesterday at conference proper.
“As a premier who has attended such conferences since 2007 until now, I see that there is no harm for you to raise concerns to national government concerning your provinces this week,” Mr Kiloe added.
“Most of these issues we have discussed during the past conferences but nothing have been done by the national government to address them,” he said.
He said to talk over and over again about those same issues does not mean anything to him at this 8th conference.
“I want to see action taking place and premiers must speak out loudly about their issues of concerns throughout this week.”
He added that the national government has failed the provinces for too long since 2007 when such event was first introduced in Lake Tengano.
“This is another chance again, so voice out your discussions boldly until the national government can do something about issues concern,” Mr Kiloe said.
