The director of Health Division in Guadalcanal provinces, Joel Denty says they will continue to work closely with Tumurora Primary School to ensure the learning institution has a healthy environment for children.
He was speaking during the handing over and official opening of the KOICA (Korea International Corporation Agency) funded toilet system at Tumurora Primary School in North Guadalcanal, last Friday.
“I want to assure you Tumurora that we will continue to work with you to maintain the good health for the students here,” Denty said.
He added that KOICA has done its part and we as health promoters, we will work with you to make sure that this facility is sustainable for the school.
“Yes students need such important facilities and we are so thankful that KOICA stepped in to help us with this.”
Denty said they have plans to make such projects for schools but due to lack of funding things never eventuated.
“I would like to thank KOICA for this wonderful assistance which will serve the students and the school.”
