THE Ministry of Health and Medical Services is calling on all eligible people in our provinces to go to their vaccination sites and get vaccinated.
In his address to the nation this afternoon Minister of Health and Medical Services Dr Culwick Togamana said people must not wait for the virus to reach provinces first before getting their vaccines.
“Pfizer, Astra Zeneca and Sinopharm vaccines are available to you.
“Therefore, do not wait for the virus to reach your provinces.
“Do it now,” Dr Togamana said.
In Honiara, the Minister said the vaccination team in Honiara has been conducting vaccination for frontliners and essential workers since yesterday.
“Once that is done, they will commence with the community outreach rollout,” he said.
